Q. HOW DO WE KNOW YOU ARE THE RIGHT WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER FOR US?

Q. DO YOU POSE US AT ALL OR IS EVERYTHING TOTALLY CANDID?
Everything I do is organic. I focus on candid, documentary-style photography — but I won't just leave you hanging. I usually give gentle direction during portraits — where to stand, how to move, little prompts to help you feel natural. Other than that? No posing. No forced smiles. No stiff looks. Think less "where should I look?" or "should I smile now?" — just enjoy your moments. I'll document the real moments as they happen. Relaxed, natural, and authentic.
Q. DO YOU INCLUDE A SECOND WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER?
Yes, all my wedding packages include a second photographer. Having a second shooter ensures coverage from multiple angles, a greater variety of images, and backup on your special day.
Q. WHAT IF IT RAINS ON OUR WEDDING DAY?
Don't worry! As a professional wedding photographer with experience in all kinds of weather, I'll help you plan and find the best locations for intimate, covered, or even dramatic rainy-day photos. Many of the most romantic and candid moments happen when we embrace the unexpected.
Q. WHAT EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
As a professional documentary wedding photographer, I use two Canon mirrorless cameras with a variety of Canon lenses to focus on the candid moments of your wedding day. I also use on- and off-camera flashes during your reception.
Q. HOW MANY PHOTOS DO WE GET AND WHEN?
Depending on your package, I typically deliver 500 to 2000 final images. It takes about 6-8 weeks to deliver your full wedding gallery, but you'll receive a sneak peek of 10-20 images within a week. For engagement sessions, it takes about 2-4 weeks.
Q. HOW DO WE RECEIVE OUR GALLERY?
Your images will be uploaded to an online gallery. You can download either Hi-Res or Web-size images. You can also share the gallery with your friends and family.
Q. CAN WE GET YOUR RAW FILES?
Sorry, I do not give out my RAW files. RAW files are not finished images. I spend a great deal of time editing your images to make them perfect for you to share, post, and print.
Q. CAN WE ADD MORE HOURS TO OUR PACKAGE?
Absolutely! You can easily add extra hours through your contract, and I will send a separate invoice for the added time.
Q. DO YOU TRAVEL OUT OF MARYLAND?
I'm based in Maryland and travel around the world. For locations within a three-hour drive, travel is included without a specific charge. For locations outside the three-hour radius, please inquire with me for a price quote.
Q. CAN WE BOOK A MEETUP FOR CONSULTING?
Yes! I offer unlimited consulting services to couples who have booked with me. I also offer one free consulting session to new clients. I love meeting in person to discuss your big day, whether in Washington DC, Baltimore, Annapolis, or elsewhere in Maryland. We can also schedule a phone or video chat at your convenience.

Yes to both. Your gallery includes a print store for professional prints — wallet-size to wall art, shipped to your door.
For albums, we offer custom-designed lay flat wedding albums, individually designed around your photos and printed on archival-quality paper. Handcrafted to last a lifetime — at a fraction of what most studios charge. Our 10-hour package includes a complimentary album. Get in touch for add-on pricing and customization.
Q. DO YOU OFFER WEDDING VIDEOGRAPHY?
Yes! Through my They Were There service, you can add a professional-grade vlog camera to your wedding day — handed to your family or closest friends to capture behind-the-scenes moments you'd otherwise miss. Every package includes a custom shot list and professional editing. Learn more here.
